Mattie is our Barber at Blake and Company Hair Spa. She previously apprenticed at Blake & Co. Hair Spa in 2009, and an upscale Barber shop in Reston. She then attended classes at PR Partners Academy. She completed cosmetology theory in 2009. Mattie has been in the salon atmosphere for 10+ years and she's been barbering over 3 years now. Mattie received an award for the most outstanding apprentice in the state of Virginia. She possesses excellent customer service and communication skills that makes her customer feel like a long time friends. She's skilled in a variety of techniques including straight shaves, skin fades, undercuts, and is a design artist, along with more traditional cuts such as flat tops, Ivy League, pompadours, and more.
